This page explains what personal data we process when you send us a request through this website, why we process it and what rights you have. We follow Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data.

What data we process and why

When you fill in the quote request form, we process the details you enter: your full name, email, optionally your phone number, the travel date and route, the number of passengers and the text of your request.

We use them only to prepare a quote and to contact you about your request. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not use the data for marketing and do not pass it to third parties for their own purposes.

Spam protection

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that it is filled in by a person rather than an automated program. For this it processes technical data about your browser and device, including your IP address. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the website from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Who has access to the data

The following services process the data on our behalf (processors):

Cloudflare, Inc. – website hosting and form protection (Turnstile),
Postmark (ActiveCampaign, LLC) – delivering the form message to our mailbox,
WebSupport s.r.o. – the mailbox in which we receive the message.

Cloudflare and Postmark are based in the USA. Transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

How long we keep the data

A request that does not lead to a booking is deleted no later than 12 months after our last communication. If it leads to a booking, we keep the data for the duration of the contract and then for as long as the law requires (for example for accounting records).

Cookies

The website does not use analytics or advertising cookies and does not track your visits.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing and to data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Just write to us at info@damatravel.sk.

If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava.
